About The Market
Los Angeles is the second-largest urban region in the United States, and thus presents a huge opportunity for us as we continue to build out our North American business. Its economy is incredibly diversified, with established industries including entertainment, real estate, hospitality, manufacturing, consumer products, aerospace, and healthcare. In addition to this, LA has always been known to have an entrepreneurial culture and so it should come as no surprise that it’s quickly emerging as one of the fastest growing tech scenes in the world outside of Silicon Valley. Given how our San Francisco office has developed a track-record of success helping venture capital backed startups and high growth companies find top talent, Los Angeles was a natural next expansion market for us.
About Our Focus
Our main area of focus in Los Angeles will be partnering with start-ups and high-growth businesses to help them hire emerging leaders at the director-VP level. Given the areas of expertise of our founding team, our functional specialties to start will include Finance, Operations, and Product Management. Our aim is to leverage our network and market knowledge to help companies bridge the talent gap between LA and the Bay Area.
About Our Team
We’re delighted to announce that Frederic Tehard will be leading our expansion into the LA market. Frederic is widely considered to be one of the most respected recruiters for venture backed startups and high growth companies in California. He has consistently been a global top-achiever for the firm since he joined in Paris in 2010. He relocated to San Francisco in 2015 to launch the Finance & Operations specialist practice, and also went on to manage the high performing Design and People Operations specialist teams.
In addition to Frederic, we are excited to say that we have relocated a very strong team of top performers from our London, New York and San Francisco offices to help launch the business. The team aims to be the leading specialist recruitment business in LA, the first name companies choose whenever they need to hire the best.
