Simon Bromwell, Managing Director

Simon has been leading teams for Robert Walters across the globe for over 15 years. He built and led one of Japan’s most successful recruitment businesses before relocating to San Francisco in 2012 to launch the firm's first operation on the West Coast. In addition to his leadership role in San Francisco, Simon also oversees the RW offices in New York, Los Angeles and Toronto. Originally from the UK, Simon now calls San Francisco home.

Julia Horiuchi, Go-To-Market

Julia has been recruiting for some of the most respected venture backed startups in the San Francisco Bay Area for almost 10 years. She started her career recruiting in the HR space, and for the past 6 years has specialized in marketing, business development, and sales leadership searches. She currently leads our Go-To-Market practice, and personally leads the teams that specializes in searches within the Enterprise Technology space. 

Eric Soni, Technical Recruitment

Eric oversees our Technical Recruitment practice, which consists of 3 functional specialist teams: Product Management, Design, and Software Engineering. Mary McKinley, Design

Since joining Robert Walters, Mary has progressed through the ranks and is now managing our Design specialist practice. Prior to joining our San Francisco team, Mary spent four years working for our Ireland and New York businesses. She is known for her ability to build long-lasting relationships with some of the industry’s most sought after design and data talent, and has consistently been among the firm’s top global performers.

Julia Noellert, Finance & Operations

Julia joined Robert Walters in 2015 to help build out our Finance & Operations practice in San Francisco. Due to her success during her first two years with the business, she had a six month secondment to our London head office in order to help them scale a tech start-up focused recruitment business. She excels in business development and creating productive relationships with both candidates and clients. She has a strong global background and can speak Mandarin after her experience living and studying abroad in China.

Faye Tracey, People Operations & Talent

Faye leads our People & Talent practice and specializes in placing senior HR leaders into high growth companies in the Bay Area. Faye started her recruitment career in London and has extensive experience in both external and internal recruitment roles. She moved to San Francisco in 2018 and very quickly has developed a great network as a result of her genuine passion for the HR space. She is known for her highly consultative approach and determination to ensure the right fit for both clients and candidates.

Frederic Tehard, Los Angeles

Frederic is widely considered to be one of the most effective finance and operations recruiters in California. Frederic has consistently been a global top-achiever for Robert Walters since he joined in Paris in 2010. He relocated to San Francisco in 2015 to launch the Finance & Operations specialist practice, which quickly became one of the fastest growing in the global organization. In 2018 Frederic moved to Los Angeles with the business and is now responsible for leading our business across the Southern California region.

Nick Louca, New York

Nick is the Director of the Commerce Division of Robert Walters in the New York office, overseeing the Finance & Accounting, Sales & Marketing and Technology recruitment pratices. Having joined Robert Walters in 2008 in Australia, Nick has also worked in recruitment the UK. Bay Area professionals willing to commute for jobs in San Francisco

According to a report by Apartment List, the number of commuters in the U.S. who commute more than 90 minutes to work has increased by 31.7% since 2005. This has earned these long-distance commuters a nickname-- "super commuters". The Bay Area is among the top 10 metros with the greatest share of super commuters.
